Nicomatic Light Emitting Diodes ( SMD LEDs) are extremely thin – with a height of 0.5mm or 0.35mm to select from – and in a total size of 3.2 x 1.6 x 0.5mm or 0.35mm (3.2 x 2.5 x 0.5mm or 0.35mm in bi-color). They are an ideal choice for membrane switches as their small height reduces the thickness of the layer and eliminates embossing, which in turns decreases the cost of the membrane switch total construction.
