Stepping Motors of SKC
Unlike anyone else in the industry, over 50% of our stepping motors are utilized as part of a custom module or assembly. SKC manufactures stepping motors in a wide range of Nema sizes (11, 14, 16, 17, 23, and 34), many step angles (0.9°, 1.8°, 3.6°, 3.75° and 11.25°) and a large spectrum of torque outputs as well.

FFC cables
FFC cables are made with conductive copper laminated between 2 layers of polyester, with thermic adhesive increasing life expectancy.
From 0.5 to 2.54 mm pitch, Nicomatic offers a wide range of cables for board to board environment. FFC are soldered directly or mated with ZIF/LIF standard connectors.

CrimpFlex Crimping Presses
Nicomatic crimping presses are dedicated to the manual & pneumatic crimping of male and female contacts in a 1.27mm or 2.54mm pitch. All Nicomatic CrimpFlex™ presses are guaranteed 2 year for parts and labour except for transport and wear parts.
With more than 650 presses used worldwide, our machines are known for their reliability, ruggedness, easy set-up, simplicity of use, speed and precision.

Crimpflex™ Contacts – Nicomatic
CrimpfFlex™ contacts ensure excellent mechanical retention and electrical contact by piercing the conductor in 6 points. It is the basis for the Nicomatic patent.
The contacts are available in 2 standard pitch sizes, 1.27mm & 2.54mm, in male, male soldertab and female versions to meet all market needs. Female contacts are selective gold or tin plated.

Discrete wire to flat cable
Nicomatic interconnect solution from discrete wire to flat cable is based on a FFC crimped with contacts mounted in a housing in a pitch of 2.54mm on one side and a round wire (AWG 28-22) mounted in a housing on the other. Both are connected together and allow an easy replacement of bulky wire cabling parts and thus save weight. The tulip contact shape allows a compatibility with all market standard pin headers with 0.635mm.

Shielded FFC Cable Aluminium Shield provides EMI RFI protection
Nicomatic offers FFC cables with an Aluminium shield that provides protection against EMI/RFI. These cables are available in all pitches from 0.5 mm and higher, in almost any length and number of conductors. While Nicomatic recommends a shield that is grounded 360 degrees, externally on both ends to achieve maximum shielding effectiveness, we also provide cables with floating grounds and internally grounded shields for simple connections to ground.
In addition to the improved shielding effectiveness, Nicomatics aluminum shielded cables also have a solid layer of polyester over the aluminum to prevent unwanted shorts to chassis that are typical of silver spray shielded products with dielectric coatings.
Nicomatics shielded cables are also very thin and flexible, which allows optimal routing of cables and minimal stress onto joints in applications such as touchscreens. This combination of benefits makes Nicomatics aluminum shielded FFC cable a superior choice for almost any shielding application
