PCB connectors from Nicomatic are declined into different product ranges that correspond to market standards HE13/14. The plastics used are filled with fibreglass and are UL94-V0. Our PCB connectors in a pitch of 1.27mm and 2.54mm are fully compatible with CrimpFlex™ interconnection system.

Our CrimpFlex™ housings are made of thermoplastic filled with fibreglass classified UL94V-0. They are separated into two product ranges in 1.27mm & 2.54mm pitch and are dedicated to a use with Nicomatic contacts.
They are also compatible with our headers and most of existing market standards (0.635mm).

for example in electronics regulation calculators: FADEC – Full Authority Digital Electronic Control – systems.

FADEC systems have been developed to bring an answer to engine and plane makers needs in terms of higher reliability, cost optimization and engine performance. The Full Authority Digital Electronic Control (FADEC) is the main equipment of the regulation system. It ensures engine protection, diagnosis, numerical calculation and electronics command. CMM connectors from NICOMATIC have been selected inside this critical system. The future shows that a modular design will allow to adapt new generation calculators to multiple tasks while reducing development costs. Moreover, an open architecture is synonymous with an all electrical plane development process.

Metal domes arrays are a tactile interface between the user and keyboard. They are made of a pre-cut polyester adhesive and domes (polyester adhesive 0.05mm thick with a 0.03mm thick sheet of acrylic adhesive).
Domes arrays are applied to the PCB after peeling off the backing and aligning the array in one single operation.
2 types of domes arrays are mainly used: arrays with KISSCUTS (series of cuts around the dome in the polyester for a better adherance & ventilation of the dome) and arrays with P.A.S., an additional layer applied under the retaining layer with
channels enabling a higher volume of air around the domes arrays.

C12000 SMD test terminals are used to test zones on PCBs, separately or by comparison with another. C12000 are designed to attach a large range of probes, test probes, oscilloscope probes at key points… Nicomatic products save time on mounting by avoiding PCB piercing, hole plating & pre-manual insertion and soldering of traditional test pins.
They are patented under European patent number 0601 900 and French 92.13394.

Nicomatic Light Emitting Diodes ( SMD LEDs) are extremely thin – with a height of 0.5mm or 0.35mm to select from – and in a total size of 3.2 x 1.6 x 0.5mm or 0.35mm (3.2 x 2.5 x 0.5mm or 0.35mm in bi-color). They are an ideal choice for membrane switches as their small height reduces the thickness of the layer and eliminates embossing, which in turns decreases the cost of the membrane switch total construction.

Thanks to the technology and process of 4-legged Switch Air ™ domes patented by Nicomatic (cushion of air between metal domes), domes do not stick to each other any longer. The placement of components on flexible or rigid circuits becomes more reliable in Pick & Place mode and allows to increase productivity per placed dome.
It is not necessary to use a multi-layer PCB or PCB piercing. Our metal domes are dedicated to membrane switches and all man-machine interface applications with thin thickness.

Our round and double radius domes are essentially designed for applications where space and height are critical.
Nicomatic offers round & double radius domes that are available with or without micro dimple or multiple dimples. Given their geometry these domes are more robust to overload, overstroke & sweetspot tests. Their small diameter & shape make them ideal for consumer electronics applications, and every man/machine interface of small size (calculators, GPS systems, PC mouse, joysticks, automotive…).
The double radius version allows to save even more space vs. the round.
